New Day Campaign founder Peter Bruun was honored by the Maryland Coalition for Mental Health with the 2016 Building Bridges Award from the Maryland Coalition for Mental Health Awareness for his work challenging stigma and discrimination associated with mental illness and addiction in hopes of making the world a more healing place. Peter received this award on May 19 at the 4th Annual “Walk in My Shoes” Art Event at the American Visionary Arts Museum.  Congratulations to Peter and thank you to the Maryland Coalition for Mental Health Awareness!
