Portrayals of loving relationships and reflections on love when challenged by mental illness, addiction, and life issues: examples of compassion in a world of judgment, blame, and dismissal. The exhibition illuminates what is gained from empathy and connection rather than stigmatization and separation—the benefit of "us" versus "us and them." The exhibition is organized with artists from “SOZA A.R.T.S.” in partnership with the MFA in Community Arts (MFACA), Maryland Institute College of Art and the work of Rev. Carol L. Perlie.
